Plenty Valley Comets Representative teams.

Representative teams will be attending

- association tournaments (usually SUNDAY) - list will be advertise once bookings are made

- 15&Under representative team will participate in th Parkville premier 15&Under competition

Trials are open to any players wishing to trial.

All Players eligibility to participate in Plenty Valley Comets trials is in accordance with Netball Victoria guidelines and exemptions.

Only players who trial may be selected for the teams. All successful candidates will be advised after completion of the trial period. Selection decisions are final. Unsuccessful candidates will be offered a position in the squad and may be asked to attend training sessions / tournaments on various occasions.

Expected Commitments of selected players:

All players are expected to participate in all scheduled training and match events.

The squads will train Monday nights at RMIT Bundoora.                  

11 & Under 5.00/6.00pm 13 & under & 15 & Under 5.30/7.00pm.          

 Non-Attendance at training (unless notification to coach) or Non-payment of fees by the due date, will result in the player not taking the court, and could be removed from the team.

We will be striving for 15/u, teams to compete in selected Division of the Parkville competition at the State Netball Hockey Centre weekly and at some full day tournaments throughout the year.

11/u & 13/u Teams will compete in approximately 8-9 full day tournaments throughout the year..

Plenty Valley Comets  Representative Teams require ONE full year commitment (February – December).

Plenty  Valley Comets :

Representative teams are teams of talented players selected from the Plenty Valley Netball Association – members and interested players from surrounding Associations.

Players are invited to attend selections which are held in October / November each year. Notice of selections is posted at venue (RMIT), website and forwarded to all team managers and to all current players at least 3/4 weeks before the date. Some players are also "identified" on Saturdays by our "talent scouts" and specifically invited to attend.

Teams are chosen in specific age groups (as at Dec 31st in that year): 11 & under, 13&Under, & 15&U under.

It is a great opportunity to be selected in a representative team and, as such, requires a significant commitment from players and their parents. All parents and players must read and sign a Player/Parent Agreement form before being accepted to the team. Players must commit to train weekly at RMIT stadium. They will receive expert coaching from Netball Victoria qualified coaches.
